Style Hunting: Fairy kei

If you have read my previous post you will know that I attended a fairy kei meet up. Like last time I thought of showing you the most unique and creative coords, but since this time not many gathered Im not going to spot out two or three coords but I will show you all of them, after all all were wonderful and worth of talking about. :) 

ALEMINA

Alemina based her fairy kei coord on the colour blue, she tried to keep balance between colours but at the same time use pastel blue as much as possible 

ELLI

 Remember Elli from last time? she came again with a new unique fairy kei coordination, which included an oversized white sweater with pastel pink hearts and an oversized cream jacket full of brooches. Cute right ? 

And whatsmore? for once again she managed to impress us with her many handmade accessories

Not being a fan of too bright colours she decided to balance everything with black and the results were definitely unique! also look how cute her bag is (kitty kitty~) 

Me 

and... the last one is~ me :p. Wearing fairy kei was quite the intense experience for me, I could barely stand wearing so much pink. At first I was planning wearing pastel blue instead but since my closets colour variety includes only black, red and white, this was not an easy achievement. Eventually with some shopping I found interesting clothing which I enjoyed coordinating to fairy kei . I won't be doing something so bright any time soon,  so enjoy it now.

After a fairy kei meet up I was going to have fun in a Metal concert, where of course I wasn't planning wearing fairy kei. I could barely stand wearing so much pink that far. Im not planning doing it again any time soon. Anyways I went to the cafeteria bathroom, since there was nowhere else to go in order to do the transformation, and recorded the process

Casual, Not casual...

There was a casual Lolita meeting going on this Saturday and of course I was going to attend.

Though it has been quite a few time since I hadn't wore my dresses, due to studying and other reasons, so I wasn't much in the mood for something super casual, 

and since it was a casual meeting there was no need to do something too complicated, 

with result deciding to do something in between.   

I tried to act serious at first but then I got bored

My Haloween Costumes

I love Haloween, is a chance to dress creepy and scare the hell out of people. A wonderful event I have to say.   

  
  Haloween is not celebrated here though and my joy of creeping people out is restrained.  
 Eventually~ this year I had the chance to dress up for haloween 2 times~ and here is, what I did.

I din't had a certain theme in mind for this one, I just wanted to look really creepy. Which I think I managed ... according to the reactions I got...

You can't have a Wonderland without a Mad Hatter. There is nothing more to say.

Style Hunting: Japanese street fashion Meeting

     
           Finaly a Japanese street fashion meeting/walk took place in this country. So I decided  to share with you the most interesting and unique outfits out there...
The thing is that everyone had an interesting outfit, with result not being able to decide which one to show you, showing all of them would be to much...and too much pink...and you would get bored.  
So I decided to look at it in another way and I found the most creative ones, with the most interesting process. 

AMA-Dolly Kei

First of all I wasn't excpecting to see someone in Dolly kei in this event, it took me by suprise. 

Though thats not the reason why I choose her outfit to appear here. 

But that, every single piece from her outfit is bought from mainstream stores like Attrativo and Bershka. The only thing that motivate her to coordinate everything this way was: the idea of an alternative fashion, that she liked this colours and this certain clothes. I actualy want to show that is not what you wear but how you wear it. Her outfit is a strong example of that. If people were  motivated to be more creative maybe everyone wouldnt look so simmilar with each other.

ELLI- Fairy Kei

I found Elli's outfit quite creative. 

At first sight, you might not see something "super unique" about it, but what if I told you that most of her accesoiries are handmade?. 
She literlally wore her favorite childhood toys. She found them and decided to turn them into accesoiries for the sake of fairy kei.  
Her shoulder bag used to be a dog plushie from a toy store, but this days have past and now it's duty is to carry her things and make her look cutter. 

 I love the contrast black hair have, with the rest of a pink outfit.

The shirt was bought from the store's children section. 
You can't say, things are more interesting in childrens section...I mean it... !



Everyone had a creative and wonderful outfit, but I choose this two regarding the concept and progress. 

I hope you enjoyed seing people getting creative.~ 

MLP Doll, Visual Kei TRANSFRMATION

  
 Vinyl Scratch or Dj Pon 3, is my favourite My little Pony character ( together with Rarity ) for many reasons, because of her attitude,cutie mark, style but manly because Music is her Life. 
   I was glad to find her Equestria girls doll in the toystore. But dissapointed imedietly when I realized how bad she was made. Her hair had nothing to do with the original, her outfite  was made out of plastic and her Make up was...preety messed up. 
  So I decided to give her a make over. A Visual Kei Make over. I shall make an already cool character, Awesome and unique. 

HAIR

Vinyl's hair already look like a Visual kei haircut so I tried to copy her original hair with some changes.

I decided to cut her hair into three layers one longer than the other. 

I start by the upper layer which is the shortest.

I choosed the hair that form the upper part and kept the rest in braids. Then I asymmetrically cut it 

The second Layer must be the thicker since it will be the one forming the hair shape. 

I keep the original Image as my guide. 

The final layer must follows the other two.

I am preety pleased with the results. I used hair sparay in order to form vinyl's hair

CLOTHING

The only nice part of her outfit was the skirt, which was to colourful for VK so I did not used. 

I started with a slevless Jacket. 

And then a Visual kei style shirt. Part of the belly will be showing. 

 Pants wouldn't suit her so I made a skirt.

Hand warmers and red fur and she is ready.

Clothing Finished 

MAKE UP

 At first I was scared that I might do a make up that doesn't suit her. So I made some sketches first, to be sure 

I dressed her with a pice of black fabric so her clothes won't get messy. Also pined up her hair so they won't be in the way. 

Then I cleaned her face which was dirty from cut hair and hair spray. 

I didn't want to alter the already existing make up, because not only I tried in some parts and couldn't make it (^.^;) but also because I really like the notes inside her eyes  and in her chick 

And then I started. 

I used intense Black outlining for the eyes to give the characteristic Visual Kei look and then red and blue shadows to match Vinyl's colours. The blue shadow is close to the nose in order to give the effect of a high bridged nose and makes it stand out more. 

I made the lips  look smaller and chubbier by using red colour above the pink one. Red lips match better and give her a more intense look. 

FINAL TOUCHES! 

Some final touches to complete the look

I started with the skirt tips.  

Both black and blue should be used in order to balance the colours in the whole outfit 

and~ Cutie Mark

and the make over is finally over with Vinyl looking like that

The result are pretty satisfying and I short of realized that I made her wearing an outfit similar to one I wanted to wear.
